Can I get assistance without mobile data?
Keep the assistance international phone number, your policy number and offline instructions, and verify alternative contact routes so you can get help without mobile data or a local SIM.
Save the assistance provider’s international phone number, your policy number and a short offline instruction sheet that includes emergency contacts and the local emergency number. Confirm alternative contact options—hotel staff, local clinic reception, an escort or embassy can sometimes place calls on your behalf—and verify that assistance is reachable by phone as well as by any app. Do not rely solely on a mobile app or local SIM for access to help; confirm and print backup channels before you travel.
